WATCH: Mississippi State assistants Bob Shoop, Mark Hudspeth mic’d up for spring practice

With so many new faces on the coaching staff in Starkville this spring, Mississippi State’s video team Hail State Productions is doing a video series in an attempt to offer up Bulldog fans an opportunity to get the new coaching staff.
The latest two videos that have been released feature defensive coordinator Bob Shoop and associate head coach/tight ends coach Mark Hudspeth.
Shoop last coached at Tennessee as defensive coordinator for two seasons and was at Penn State prior to returning to the SEC. Before coaching in the Big Ten, Shoop ran Vanderbilt’s defense under James Franklin. Hudspeth’s return to Starkville comes following seven seasons as Louisiana-Lafayette head coach, he was previously a receivers coach for Mississippi State.
