Saturday was a long day for the Mississippi State Bulldogs, as they got off to a slow start offensively and also had to wait out a long rain delay.
However, it was all worth it in the bottom of the ninth inning, as Elijah MacNamee stepped to the plate with two runners on and two outs. Make an out and the Bulldogs’ season would be over.
As you can see below, he instead launched a game-winning three-run home run, celebrating excitedly as the Bulldogs eliminated Florida State:

The Bulldogs will now play the winner of the Oklahoma-Samford game, which will be played later on Saturday night.
Mississippi State is riding high after that big win, but now the Bulldogs need to refocus so they can keep their season going.
