Mississippi State’s game against UMass turned into a tough contest on Saturday.

The Bulldogs turned the ball over twice in the first half against the Minutemen and went into halftime facing a 20-13 deficit. MSU played much better after the break on both sides of the ball while outscoring UMass 21-3 in the second half.

Bulldogs QB Nick Fitzgerald provided another 100-yard rushing game to pace the offense in the second half. They will now get ready to take on No. 2 Alabama, but one play from Saturday’s game has drawn a bit of attention.

The video of the play was shared on Twitter by @Brett_Hudson and could be seen as a dirty play from one UMass player. No. 57 can be seen diving into the pile after a loose ball, but he also appears to grab and twist the leg of Bulldogs LB Gerri Green.

Green looks to be in obvious pain during the play, but hopefully he is okay. Here is the video:

Green has 23 total tackles, two sacks, and five tackles for loss this season.
