What Joe Moorhead said after Mississippi State's loss at Texas A&M
The Mississippi State Bulldogs are now a disappointing 3-5 after going into College Station on Saturday and losing to Texas A&M 49-30.
It was another rough day for Mississippi State coach Joe Moorhead, who finds himself on the hot seat. Now, MSU must beat 3 of their final 4 opponents — Arkansas, Alabama, Abilene Christian and Ole Miss — just to make a bowl game.
After the loss, Moorhead addressed the media. Here’s what he said:
On the four-game losing streak:
Joe Moorhead on Mississippi State’s four-straight losses: “This isn’t where we want to be, and this isn’t what we’re about.”

On the play of freshman QB Garrett Shrader:
Moorhead on Shrader's inconsistency in the first half: "I thought. little bit of it was protection, a little bit of it was where his eyes were."

On the play of star RB Kylin Hill:
Moorhead on Kylin Hill's effort: "I thought he was running with more physicality and pad level."

The Bulldogs will travel to Fayetteville to take on the struggling Razorbacks next weekend. That looks like a must-win game for Moorhead now.
