Barry Odom receives fond welcome during pregame warmups at Mizzou
Mizzou moved on from former coach Barry Odom this past offseason, hiring Eliah Drinkwitz from Appalachian State, but Odom’s fingerprints are still all over the program.
Several of his former defensive assistants were retained by Drinkwitz, including DC Ryan Walters. Now that Odom is Arkansas’s DC under Sam Pittman, he’ll face his old team on Saturday.
As you can see below, Odom was greeted by his former players and staff prior to Saturday’s game:

Will Odom’s defense be able to slow down the Tigers’ offense under Drinkwitz? Will Odom be able to give Arkansas OC Kendal Briles valuable insight into what Walters likes to do?
We’ll see what happens on the field on Saturday at noon Eastern time on the SEC Network.
