Just hours after Missouri announced its decision to fire head coach Barry Odom, the program suffered its first decommitment of the 2020 recruiting class.

The first prospect to reopen his recruitment following Odom’s dismissal is Texas defensive end Robert Wooten of Stafford High School in Stafford, Texas. Wooten is rated as a three-star prospect, the No. 25 weakside defensive end and the No. 77 overall prospect from Texas.

Missouri now has 16 players committed in the 2020 recruiting cycle but that number is likely to decline in the coming days while the Tigers search for the next leader of the program.
