Brady Cook and the Missouri Tigers picked up a win on Saturday on Senior Day against Arkansas, as they escaped with the 28-21 win in the rivalry game.

Cook, who grew up in St. Louis, capped off his incredible Missouri career (at least in front of the home fans) with the win. The Tigers were trailing 21-20 with 1:53 remaining, but Cook took off and scored on a 30-yard scamper to give the Tigers the lead for good. He finished the day with 168 passing yards, but also another 63 on the ground.

After the game, Cook talked about being able to complete a dream he had as a child.

“The 12-year old me, I don’t think he would believe, I really don’t,” Cook said. “I think it is just a testament to wanting something, to believing in something. Seeing a vision really early on and just sticking to it. Tough times and adversity, questioning yourself, all of that. It all comes into play. Just finding a way to work through it. I am proud of myself. I am proud of that little boy that had a dream.”

Cook has thrown for 8,553 yards during his time as the Missouri quarterback, which ranks 4th all-time. With the bowl game left, he has an outside chance of catching Brad Smith to move to 3rd in school history.
