Damarea Crockett, former Mizzou running back and current Denver Bronco, announced Tuesday that he will miss the entirety of the 2022-23 season with a right knee injury.
“Unfortunately I just found out that I’ll be sidelined this season due to a torn ACL today during practice,” Crockett wrote on Twitter. “I never ask God why, I just roll with the punches (because) I know it’s His will not mine.”
Crockett played 3 solid seasons at Mizzou, rushing for over 2,252 yards and 19 touchdowns in 28 games. Crockett missed half the 2017 season following a shoulder injury suffered against Georgia.
It’s Gods plan, we could never understand.

Crockett was preparing for his second year in the NFL after just 3 total rushes last season. Up and coming receiver Tim Patrick also suffered an ACL injury Tuesday at practice for the Broncos.
