This is the type of offseason news Eli Drinkwitz and his Mizzou coaching staff hate to see.

Senior Missouri tight end Daniel Parker Jr. was recently arrested on Wednesday by Boone County police for failing to appear in court. Parker was summoned to court after being ticketed for speeding.

According to Boone County police records, Parker was recorded going 20-25 miles over the speed limit. Parker is already out on bond.

This time last year, Parker made the news when he revealed he had suffered from a serious eye infection that held him out of spring practice.

Parker, a 2018 Freshman All-SEC Team selection, has caught 29 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown during his three seasons at Mizzou.

He projects as a potential starter for Missouri heading into his senior season with the program.
