Derek Dooley has high praise for Mizzou WR Barrett Banister

The Missouri Tigers have been struggling on offense the past five weeks, but WR Barrett Banister has made some nice plays.

He’s earned a bigger role in the offense heading into Friday’s season finale, and he’s earned the praise of offensive coordinator Derek Dooley.

As you can see below, Dooley credited Banister for his strong work ethic this season:

Banister has 21 catches for 186 yards and 1 touchdown — not exactly the best numbers, but Mizzou’s offense has been pretty bad as QB Kelly Bryant battles various injuries.

Can Banister finish the season with a bang? Can the Tigers snap a 5-game losing streak? We’ll find out on Friday.
