Eli Drinkwitz has made his decision about Missouri’s starting quarterback for Wednesday’s Armed Forces Bowl against Army.

Drinkwitz said at a press conference on Tuesday that Brady Cook will get the start. Drinkwitz previously said the QB job was based on a 100 percent competition between the 3 players.

The Mizzou QB position has been in flux in recent weeks since Connor Bazelak suffered an injury against Vanderbilt, and then more recently battled turnovers. Cook and Tyler Macon split time in the game against Georgia.

Bazelak finished 10 of 26 for 65 yards against Arkansas, with an interception, while Cook registered one carry for 2 yards.

Drinkwitz previously said the bowl preparation time was similar to spring practice in that the coaching staff could evaluate the QBs in different situations, such as red zone and end-of-game scenarios.
