Eli Drinkwitz’ Big 3 make up one of the better offensive attacks in college football.

The 3 in question – QB Brady Cook, RB Cody Schrader and WR Luther Burden – all had stellar 2023 seasons. Cody Schrader was arguably the best running back in college football this season. Burden, a former top 5 overall prospect in the Class of 2022, was a dangerous weapon for Cook, who easily had his best season in football under Drinkwitz and Co in 2023.

The Tigers will face off against Ohio State in the upcoming Cotton Bowl tomorrow, December 29. Before the 2 top 10 programs face off, Drinkwitz and Ohio State HC Ryan Day met with media in a joint press conference.

Drinkwitz was asked about his big 3 playmakers, and he noted what he believes is the “coolest thing” about each of them: They aren’t selfish, they just want to win football games.

Incredibly, all 3 of Cook, Schrader and Burden are top 3 in yardage for their respective positions in the SEC. Burden ranks 3rd in the conference in receiving yards and receiving yards per game, Schrader sits at No. 1 in the country in rushing yards per game (124) and Cook sits at 3rd in the SEC at 265.8 passing yards per game.

Not too shabby. Mizzou and Ohio State will face off at 8 p.m. ET Friday on ESPN.
