Former Mizzou WR Jason Ray lands position on Big 12 coaching staff
Former Missouri wide receiver Jason Ray is returning to the Big 12.
Kansas State formally introduced Ray as its new wide receivers coach Saturday. Ray follows new KSU head coach Chris Klieman from North Dakota State. Klieman replaces the legendary Bill Snyder, who decided to retire after the 2018 season.
Ray joined the NDSU staff in June 2018 after two seasons at Missouri State (2016-17). His coaching resume dates back to 2009 with stops at Wyoming (2009-12), Oklahoma State (2013-14) and Northern Iowa (2015).
Ray was a team captain on the 2007 Mizzou team which won a Big 12 North title and defeated Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl.
