What Gary Pinkel said after Missouri lost at Georgia
Here’s what Missouri coach Gary Pinkel had to say after the Tigers lost 9-6 to Georgia in Athens:
Opening remarks: Well, it’s tough. We played a real good football team. Our defense played tremendous. Offensively, we’re still having our struggles as a team and I’m just real disappointed for our players because we played, in a lot of respect, good enough to win. We didn’t get it done.
Pinkel: "there's a lot of mistakes out there being made. It's very very frustrating. I still think we're a good football team."

On the team’s offensive struggles: Just keep working hard. That’s all we can do.
Pinkel: "seems like they always had somebody unblocked. That's not very good."

On the defense: They did a lot of good things. They’re an experienced group of guys and they’re playing really well. We’ve got work to do.
On Missouri’s first offensive drive, which started in the red zone but only resulted in a field goal:
Pinkel says MU had a snap problem and communication problems over 3 plays at the goal line to start the game.

On Missouri linebacker Kentrell Brothers, who had a career-high 17 tackles:

On Missouri quarterback Drew Lock, who only completed two passes in the second half:
