Ian Mathews, transferring Auburn DL, commits to another SEC program

Ian Mathews was one of several Auburn defenders to enter the transfer portal this offseason.
Now, it appears he’s found a new home, and he isn’t leaving the SEC (though he is switching divisions.
As you can see below, Mathews took to Twitter on Sunday to announce he was committing to Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers:

Mathews, a 3-star member of Auburn’s 2021 recruiting class, didn’t record any stats for the Tigers as a freshman in 2021. He was the No. 82 defensive lineman in the 2021 class and the No. 57 overall recruit from the state of Georgia, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
How will he fare at Mizzou? We’ll find out starting this fall.
