James Madison II – no, not the father of the constitution – announced Monday that he has committed to Missouri, choosing the Tigers over the likes of Florida State, Louisville, Alabama and Auburn, among many others. He definitely picked the appropriate day to announce his decision.

And Mizzou is getting a good one. Madison is rated as the No. 362 overall prospect in the Class of 2024, as well as the 56th rated WR in the cycle.

The 6-3 wideout out of St. Thomas Aquinas in Ft. Lauderdale is long, fast and has “superb body control” according to 247Sports Director of Scouting Andrew Ivins. He also plays basketball for St. Thomas.

He made his announcement via Twitter Monday:

Madison represents Missouri’s top commitment in the Class of 2024 thus far, the Tigers’ only 4-star verbal commit. He’s the 2nd true WR commit of the cycle, too, joining unrated Jude James. 3-star ATH pledge Cam Dooley played WR and DB in high school.
