Mizzou is putting together a strong group for the 2025 recruiting class. Friday night, the Tigers added another 4-star piece for the cycle with a commitment from one of the best prospects out of Tennessee.
Jamarion Morrow, a 5-foot-9 and 180-pound athlete, is the latest player to commit to the Tigers. He committed to Eli Drinkwitz’s program over other SEC offers that included Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M and Arkansas.

Morrow is rated as a 4-star recruit and the No. 9 ATH for the cycle per the 247 Sports Composite. He’s also the No. 5 player out of Tennessee and another big pickup for Drinkwitz and his staff.
Morrow has made plays in a variety of ways in high school, lining up as a wide receiver and taking handoffs in the backfield. He’s a shifty runner with the ability to make men miss in the open field.
Overview of Mizzou’s class
The commitment of Morrow gives Mizzou 10 hard pledges to this point in the process. He’s the 5th player with a 4-star composite rating from that group, giving the Tigers a strong group to work with entering the summer.
It is also another key recruiting victory for Mizzou over other SEC programs. The key piece to Mizzou’s class of 2025 is Matt Zollers, a 4-star quarterback and top-50 recruit for the cycle. Zollers eventually committed to Mizzou after also including Georgia and Penn State in his final group.
After putting together the No. 20 recruiting class in the country for 2024, we’ll see if Drinkwitz’s staff can improve on that mark with a solid start to the class of 2025.
