Mizzou dismisses RB Trevon Walters from team
Mizzou RB Trevon Walters was arrested on Friday for allegedly stealing and using a debit card.
First-year coach Barry Odom didn’t waste much time making a decision on Walters’ future with the Tigers, dismissing the redshirt sophomore from the team:

Former Mizzou WR T.J. Moe wasn’t too disappointed to learn that Walters was dismissed from the team. Moe wasn’t happy with a tweet Walters sent at the end of last season:

Walters responded “Straight up” to someone who tweeted “They need to leave Henson in Arkansas” after Mizzou’s 28-3 season-ending loss to the Razorbacks.
Walters never took the field during a game in his time at Mizzou. He redshirted his freshman season and missed last year after suffering an injury in spring practice.
