A Missouri defensive lineman is officially leaving in the offseason.

Travion Ford announced on Twitter Tuesday afternoon that he will enter the transfer portal following the conclusion of Missouri’s season.

The announcement comes after Ford didn’t play at all in his second season with the Tigers. His freshman year, Ford recorded just 2 tackles on the season.

“I believe that it’s in my best interest to continue my collegiate career elsewhere,” Ford said in his Twitter post. “This wasn’t an easy decision but I believe it is necessary to continue to grow as an athlete.”

Ford still has 3 years of eligibility left.

Missouri had a shaky 6-6 season. It picked up some decent wins over South Carolina and Arkansas, but never was able to get anything to click.
