The Missouri Tigers have an experienced squad returning to the court for the 2020-21 season. However, coach Cuonzo Martin and the Tigers are working on putting together a strong 2021 recruiting class at the moment.

On Wednesday night, the Tigers landed commitment No. 5 for their 2021 class, and this one comes from St. Louis.

As you can see below, 3-star center Yaya Keita out of DeSmet High School announced via Twitter he was committing to Mizzou:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Keita is the No. 25 center in the class of 2021 and the No. 5 overall recruit from the state of Missouri.

The Tigers now have 5 players in their 2021 recruiting class. Prior to Keita’s commitment, that class ranked No. 36 in the nation and No. 6 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
