Keke Chism had a strong first year at Mizzou. On Sunday, he announced that he will be back for another season.

Chism made his announcement on social media, posting a screenshot of a note to his Twitter account.

“I’ve spent a considerable amount of time praying and discussing what’s ultimately best for my future with my family. I’m confident and proud to announce, I will be returning to Mizzou for one more season in 2021. I am wholeheartedly committed to this decision. I look forward to my continued growth as a player while also doing my part to help build a championship pedigree in this dynamic culture in Como.”

Chism is taking advantage of the NCAA’s COVID eligibility rule. He joined the program in 2020 as a grad transfer from Division II Angelo State with one year of eligibility remaining. Ahead of the 2020 season, however, the NCAA announced all players would be allowed to enter 2021 with the same eligibility they had heading into the 2020 season.

Chism led all Tigers receivers in receptions and receiving yards with 35 catches for 458 yards.
