The Missouri Tigers are reportedly dipping into the high school ranks to add an analyst to their off-field staff.

Per a report from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Rick Jones of Greenwood High School is stepping down after 16 seasons to head to Columbia.

The report states that Jones will be a senior consultant for new Mizzou coach Eliah Drinkwitz:

Sources told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that Jones will accept a position on Missouri’s staff as a senior consultant to new coach Eliah Drinkwitz. Drinkwitz, an Alma native, was hired by Missouri in December from Appalachian State.

Greenwood won 8 titles under Jones, including back-to-back championships in 2017 and 2018.
