The Missouri Tigers are off to a slow start in the 2019 recruiting class standings, but they’ve been picking up some momentum.
On Saturday, that momentum continued, as 3-star 2019 S/RB Anthony Watkins reportedly announced his commitment to the Tigers.
According to Gabe DeArmond of PowerMizzou.com, Watkins told coaches he committed to Mizzou during an official visit on Saturday:

According to the 247Sports rankings, Watkins is the No. 96 safety in the class of 2019 and the No. 149 overall recruit from the state of Texas.
Watkins becomes the fourth member of Mizzou’s 2019 class. Prior to his commitment, that class ranked No. 13 in the SEC and No. 62 class in the nation, per 247Sports.
