The Missouri Tigers have had a couple of rough seasons the past two years, going 5-7 in 2015 and a disappointing 4-8 in 2016 after winning the SEC East in 2013 and 2014.

However, expectations are reasonably high in coach Barry Odom’s second year, as the Tigers hope to contend for bowl eligibility once again this fall.

On Wednesday, SEC Network analysts Matt Stinchcomb and Marcus Spears shared their thoughts on the Tigers heading into the 2017 season, and, as you can see, they differed significantly.

Spears wasn’t so high on the Tigers’ chances, having them lose the last four games of the season to once again miss out on a bowl game with a 5-7 record:

Mizzou fans will be much happier with Stinchcomb’s projections, as he flipped the Tigers’ games against Vanderbilt and Tennessee and has them finishing a respectable 7-5:
