SEC Network analysts believe Missouri is legit, and capable of big things down the road.

“This is a legitimately good football team that the country needs to know about,” Dari Nowkhah said.

Benjamin Watson and Chris Doering agreed after the Tigers took care of South Carolina, and after a bye week this week travel to take on Georgia. Watson said anybody who’s watched Missouri this season knows it’s a well-coached football team.

“This is a team that’s got a solid quarterback, and if you’ve got a good quarterback you’ve got a chance to win,” Watson said, and pointed out that the defensive had 100 yards in negative yardage between sacks and tackles for a loss against South Carolina.

Doering said what stood out to him was Missouri was intent on being, “the more physical team” against South Carolina.

“The great part about watching this team is they can beat you a number of different ways,” Doering said. “… The more multiple you are, the more dangerous a team you are as we go on. … They’re not a one-trick pony.”
