Texas and Oklahoma managed to become the talk of the second half of this week’s SEC Media Days in Hoover, Alabama. Missouri was part of the Day 4 festivities with Case Cook was one of the Tiger players on hand.
Cook was asked about Texas potentially joining the SEC. The Mizzou offensive lineman noted that it wasn’t a huge concern to him as he wouldn’t be part of a Mizzou-Texas SEC game but he couldn’t get resist getting a dig in at the Longhorns.
“If you can’t handle a ‘horns down’ gesture, I figure it’ll probably be tough to play in this league,” Cook told reporters.
Andrew Kaufman of ABC 17 shared the clip of Cook’s response to being asked about Texas.
