The Missouri Tigers have struggled this year, going 1-3 in their first four games.

As they continue to have difficulties against the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday night, there was at least one moment of promise for Mizzou fans, as QB Drew Lock hit WR J’Mon Moore for a 50-yard touchdown.

The Tigers have struggled to connect on big plays this year, so this one was good for Tiger fans and players to see.

As you can see below, Lock puts the ball perfectly between the corner and safety, making a throw that is sure to have NFL scouts salivating:

Lock has the skills to be a first-round NFL Draft pick in 2019, but he needs to show more skills like the ones above this season.

If he can consistently put the ball in the right spots and make the correct reads, the Mizzou quarterback could find himself making a lot of NFL money.

However, whatever team drafts him is going to need to develop him for a couple of years before throwing him to the wolves.

If he follows the same path as former Mizzou QB Blaine Gabbert, his NFL career likely won’t be a long one.
