If you went to Faurot Field or saw a Missouri football game on TV last year, you surely noticed the bare patch of dirt where the stands in the south end zone used to be.

That bare patch is no longer there, as construction on the new south end zone facility is moving along nicely this offseason.

On Wednesday, the Mizzou Football Twitter account released a video showing off the progress, complete with a virtual tour of what the final project will look like:

When all is said and done, this is going to be a great new addition to the stadium for the Mizzou football players and should also make the fan experience better.

It should be ready for Week 1, too, so we’ll see if that progress continues over the summer.
