Arkansas baseball just couldn’t quite find enough offense on Saturday, culminating in a 5-3 loss to Kansas. The Razorbacks will now face off against Northeastern on Sunday, needing 3 straight wins to advance out of the Lawrence Regional.

Only 2 Razorbacks were able to record a hit on Saturday: Camden Kozeal and Reese Robinette. That’s much to the dismay of Arkansas starter Hunter Dietz, who posted a career-high 14 strikeouts with 5 allowed hits and 4 earned runs across 6.1 innings of work.

Nolan Souza actually put the Razorbacks on the board first, scoring Zack Stewart with a ground out. A few innings later, Robinette smashed his second home run of the season, an absolute nuke that cleared the batter’s eye, giving the Razorbacks a 3-1 lead:

That’s about where Arkansas’s good fortune ended for the evening.

The Razorbacks had zero answer for Kansas’ Riane Ritter and Boede Rahe, who combined to throw 4.1 hitless innings with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk. The pair were absolutely lockdown and guided the Jayhawks to a second straight win, advancing them to the Regional final.

Arkansas is down, but not quite out. Here’s a look at the latest odds to win the Lawrence Regional, per Kalshi:
