The College World Series continues with Day 2 action on Sunday in Omaha.
The CWS will shift back to Bracket 1 as the winners from Friday’s games will face off with a spot in the semifinals on the line. The losers from Friday’s slate will also meet on Sunday, but the stakes are arguably even higher: the loser will be eliminated from the tournament.
College World Series Day 3 schedule
Here’s what the schedule looks like for Day 3 in Omaha:
- Arizona vs. Louisville | 2 p.m. ET | ESPN/ESPN+
- Coastal Carolina vs. Oregon State | 7 p.m. ET | ESPN/ESPN+
Arizona fell to Coastal Carolina 7-4 on Friday. Louisville’s loss to Oregon State was even closer — 4-3 in extra innings. Now, these teams meet on Sunday in the first elimination game of the 2025 College World Series. Arizona is a slight favorite (more on that below) but this is anyone’s game. These teams met earlier this season with Louisville prevailing 13-1 way back in February.
The winner’s bracket game will feature Coastal Carolina and Oregon State, two of the pre-CWS favorites to win it all (behind only LSU and Arkansas). Coastal Carolina saved ace Jacob Morrison for this spot while Oregon State will throw Ethan Kleinschmit in this pivotal matchup.
