LSU headed to Omaha, not just as one of the favorites to win the College World Series, but as the heavy favorite to win the Rocco’s Jello Shot Challenge. The Tiger faithful have been dominating since the event began, and the lead is only getting bigger as we hit Day 4.
Late Sunday evening, Rocco’s updated the full standings for the challenge, and LSU’s lead from the beginning of Day 3 has only grown larger. Murray State is still a surprising 2nd while Arkansas and Coastal Carolina lag behind. Arizona, Louisville, UCLA and Oregon State have been out of the running since the start.
At the conclusion of Sunday’s action, LSU was up to 13,552 shots purchased. That means Tiger fans bought up over 3,300 shots on Sunday alone, all while LSU baseball was idle.
As for the lead, Murray State’s 2nd-place tally checked in at 6,420. For now, LSU is more than doubling that total, with Arkansas (5,583) and Coastal Carolina (4,024) coming in below the 6,000 mark.

At this point, LSU’s victory in the drinking game within the game in Omaha appears all but locked up, provided the Tigers also keep winning and advancing in the bracket. Making a run at the overall record set by LSU in 2023 is not out of the question, but that mark of over 68,000 shots looks safe for the time being.
