SEC baseball continues to dominate the early portion of the 2025 college baseball season, and the conference once again grabbed all 4 spots at the top of D1Baseball’s latest poll.

The latest poll was dropped on Monday, and LSU continues to lead the country at No. 1 overall. The Tigers are closely followed by Tennessee and Arkansas with Georgia cracking the top 4 this week. Previously No. 5 overall, the Bulldogs bumped up as North Carolina fell from 4 to 6 this week with Florida State at No. 5 overall.

The race for the No. 1 spot is far from a consensus at this point in the season. Tony Vitello and the Vols were the No. 1 team for Baseball America last week in defense of their first-ever College World Series title, but the Tigers hold onto the No. 1 spot on the D1Baseball poll for now.

As for Texas A&M, the preseason No. 1 Aggies continued their plummet in the nonconference schedule. A&M was No. 14 last week but fell even further to 19th overall this week after a 3-2 week moved the Aggies to 9-6 overall. A&M did win the weekend series vs. New Mexico State but dropped the series finale and also lost a midweek contest vs. UTSA.

While LSU is the current No. 1 team for D1Baseball, it is Tennessee who leads the odds to win the CWS at +700 via DraftKings. LSU is right behind at +750 with North Carolina (+850) and Texas A&M (+950) rounding out the top 4. Be sure to use your favorite Louisiana sports betting app to get in on the action.
