The ACC Tournament will continue with semifinal action on Friday in Washington DC.
The tournament took a turn on Thursday night as NC State upset No. 2-seeded Duke. The tournament’s top seed, North Carolina, is still alive after blowout Florida State on Thursday.
The results of the semifinals and final in this tournament will have major ramifications on Selection Sunday. UNC is in the hunt for a No. 1 seed while Pitt and Virginia find themselves on the bubble. If NC State were to run the table, it would be stealing a bid from an at-large hopeful.

Game 12: 7 p.m. – No. 1 North Carolina vs. No. 4 Pitt (ESPN/ESPN2)
North Carolina thrashed Florida State on Thursday and is the clear favorite (-175 at DraftKings) to win the ACC Tournament this weekend. Pitt won a crucial matchup with Wake Forest on Thursday, but may need another victory in order to earn an at-large berth in the NCAA Tournament. Carolina beat Pitt by 13 on the road in their only meeting so far this season.

Game 13: 9:30 p.m. – No. 10 NC State vs. No. 3 Virginia (ESPN/ESPN2)
NC State pulled off a stunning upset over Duke on Thursday to advance this game. The Wolfpack will be playing for the 4th consecutive day when they take the court against Virginia. The Cavaliers have struggled mightily down the stretch of the regular season and needed overtime to beat a lackluster Boston College team on Thursday night. These teams split their regular-season meetings.

UNC has cleared 1.25 points per possession (adjusted for opponent) in 3 straight games entering this matchup with the Panthers. Carolina also had no trouble beating Pitt on the road earlier this year, winning 70-57. DraftKings has UNC -7.5 priced at -110.
