CBS Sports’ latest 2022 NBA Mock Draft features 6 SEC players in Round 1

The 2022 NBA Draft will be here before we know it, taking place on June 23 in Brooklyn.

For now, players are still making their draft decisions, deciding whether to declare early and getting feedback on whether or not they should keep their names in the draft or return to school.

This week, CBS Sports analyst Kyle Boone updated his mock draft and, as you can see below, he expects 6 SEC standouts to go in the first round:

• No. 3 — Jabari Smith Jr., F, Auburn — Detroit Pistons
• No. 4 — Shaedon Sharpe, G, Kentucky — Oklahoma City Thunder
• No. 7 — TyTy Washington, G, Kentucky — Sacramento Kings
• No. 16 — Tari Eason, F, LSU — Atlanta Hawks
• No. 24 — Kennedy Chandler, G, Tennessee — Milwaukee Bucks
• No. 30 — Walker Kessler, C, Auburn — Oklahoma City Thunder
