Florida is seemingly in the mix to land former Arkansas guard Boogie Fland out of the transfer portal, according to a report.

Per college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, the Gators will host Fland on a recruiting visit on Monday. Fland, a former 5-star prospect, went through the NBA Draft process this spring but is now expected to return to college basketball after withdrawing from the draft.

Fland missed a lot of the 2024-25 season with a hand injury, but he was impressive when on the court for the Razorbacks. He averaged 13.5 points and 5.1 assists per game for Arkansas this past season in what was his true freshman campaign.

Fland was able to return to Arkansas’s lineup late in the year and helped the Razorbacks make a deeper-than-expected run in March Madness. Arkansas was able to reach the Sweet 16 before falling to Texas Tech in overtime.

Fland is ranked as the No. 4 transfer in the country for this offseason, per 247Sports.

Florida is tasked with replacing much of its production from its national title team in 2025. Walter Clayton Jr., Will Richard, Alijah Martin and Denzel Aberdeen have all moved on this offseason. Fland would likely start for UF if he decides to move to Gainesville, although Florida also signed another top transfer guard in Xaivian Lee earlier this offseason.

There is no timetable for Fland to make an official commitment.
