Kentucky vs. Georgia Underdog fantasy player over/under picks
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Kentucky vs. Georgia is actually shaping up to be an intriguing matchup on the SEC men’s basketball slate on Tuesday night.
The Wildcats have bounced back from some struggles by beating No. 5 Tennessee in Knoxville on Saturday. Meanwhile, first-year Georgia coach Mike White has the Bulldogs playing some competent basketball this year — something they weren’t doing under Tom Crean in 2021-22.
The betting line for the game in Lexington favors Kentucky by 11 points, but Georgia has the talent to keep things within single digits. The matchup tips off at 9 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN.
Over at Underdog, there are ways to get in on the action by making fantasy picks for Tuesday’s Kentucky-Georgia player over/under stats.

My picks for Kentucky vs. Georgia
Let’s start with Kentucky’s main man — Oscar Tshiebwe. The reigning National Player of the Year got called out by his coach, John Calipari, this week. He said he doesn’t think Tshiebwe has been in the gym enough.
Considering Tshiebwe is still producing at an elite level, those were odd comments for Coach Cal to make. But I think Tshiebwe will be eager to prove his coach wrong, so I expect a big game from Big O. Take the “higher” option for Tshiebwe’s 30.5 points+rebounds+assists total. He’s had at least 31 points+rebounds+assists in 4 of his last 6 games.
Now let’s talk about the Bulldogs. Someone is going to have to grab some rebounds to try to keep Tshiebwe from getting them all. Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe is Georgia’s leading rebounder, grabbing 5.5 per game. But he stands only 6-7, so he might have some trouble against Tshiebwe.
Therefore, I’m looking at Braelen Bridges, Georgia’s 6-11 center. He only averages 4.6 boards per game, but I think he’ll have a good night in the paint against the Wildcats. I like the “higher” option on Bridges for 4.5 rebounds. He had 6 boards against Kentucky last year for a Georgia team that was an absolute disaster. Expect more from him on Tuesday night.
Finally, Terry Roberts has become a star for the Bulldogs and is the team’s top playmaker. He has the ball in his hands all the time and is making smart decisions more often than not. His over/under of 21.5 points+rebounds+assists feels low to me.
Even if Kentucky freshman Cason Wallace is tasked with being the primary defender on Roberts, I like the “higher” option for Roberts’ 21.5 points+rebounds+assists total. Georgia has played 4 SEC games and Roberts has eclipsed that total in each matchup. I like that streak to continue against Kentucky.
How many picks should you make?
The more picks you string together, the higher the “multiplier” or payout. Of course, the more you string together, the less likely you are to win because all of the picks have to hit in order for you to win.
A 3-way parlay of the picks I listed above would pay out $60 on a $10 bet:
Want to play it a little safer and just go for a 3X payout? I’d recommend eliminating Bridges’ rebound total from the bet and just going for Tshiebwe and Roberts. Those 2 stars will have plenty to say in determining the outcome of what should be an exciting SEC showdown!
