Marvel Allen, top-30 2023 prospect, names 2 SEC teams in top 6

Marvel Allen remains interested in playing in the SEC.
In January, Allen committed to LSU when Will Wade was the Tigers’ head coach. Allen backed off his pledge to the Tigers on March 19, but he’s considering heading to Baton Rouge to play for Matt McMahon.
LSU is in Allen’s top 6, along with Texas A&M, Arizona State, Georgetown, Kansas and Michigan.

From West Palm Beach, Florida, Allen is a 4-star combo guard out of the Montverde Academy. The 6-4, 190-pounder is rated the No. 3 Sunshine State recruit, No. 6 combo guard and No. 27 prospect overall in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite.
Allen received his scholarship offers from Georgetown and Michigan after backing off his pledge to LSU.
