It’s early, but Auburn made a big recruiting splash on enemy territory.
On Friday, Auburn Undercover reported that the Tigers picked up a verbal commitment from 4-star 2020 receiver Kobe Hudson.
The Lagrange, Ga. native is rated as the No. 6 recruit in the state of Georgia and as the No. 11 receiver in the 2020 class. The 6-2, 185-pound wideout is rated as the No. 52 recruit overall.

Hudson already has offers from the likes of Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan and others. Certainly Gus Malzahn and Co. will try and prevent a late push from Kirby Smart to keep the 4-star recruit.
Hudson’s commitment doubled Auburn’s 2020 recruiting class, which ranks No. 13 nationally. The Tigers actually already got a commitment from Hudson’s Troup County teammate Andy Boykin, who is rated as the No. 9 strong-side defensive end in the 2020 class.
