2024 NCAA Softball Tournament: Full bracket, schedule for regional round

The 2024 NCAA Softball Tournament is right around the corner with Sunday’s selection show setting the field! Now, the field of teams is preparing for the regional round of action to begin May 17.

The SEC once again is well-represented with a record-tying 13 teams placed in the final field. This will be the 4th time in conference history that the SEC is sending every softball program into the NCAA Tournament.

Things will be even more competitive next season when the SEC officially adds Texas and Oklahoma. Those two programs hold the top 2 seeds for the tournament while the SEC produced 8 host sites for the regionals.

Here are the regional assignments for the double elimination regional round. Winners will advance to a best of 3 series in the 8 Super Regionals from May 23-26. The 8 winners of the Super Regionals will advance to the Women’s College World Series to be played May 30 through June 6/7 in Oklahoma City.

3. Tennessee (Knoxville Regional)

  • Tennessee, Dayton, Virginia, Miami (OH)

4. Florida (Gainesville Regional)

  • Florida, FAU, South Alabama, FGCU

5. Oklahoma State (Stillwater Regional)

  • Oklahoma State, N. Colorado, Michigan, Kentucky

6. UCLA (Los Angeles Regional)

  • UCLA, San Diego State, Virginia Tech, Grand Canyon

7. Missouri (Columbia Regional)

  • Mizzou, Omaha, Washington, Indiana

8. Stanford (Stanford Regional)

  • Stanford, CS Fullerton, Mississippi State, St. Mary’s

9. LSU (Baton Rouge Regional)

  • LSU, Jackson State, Cal, Southern Illinois

10. Duke (Durham Regional)

  • Duke, Utah, S. Carolina, Morgan State
