Josiah Brown, a 4-star wide receiver out of New York, announced Monday that he has cut his offer list to 7, including 3 SEC schools.
Brown is considering Alabama, Florida and Georgia from the SEC. Also in the mix for the 6-foot, 170-pound speedster are Michigan, Rutgers, Penn State and Notre Dame.

Brown is considered to be the No. 169 player in the nation and the No. 12 overall pure athlete. On top of that, Brown is considered to be the No. 1 player out of New York by 247Sports’ composite rankings.
So, does he fit well with any of the school mentioned? Well Rutgers would be the closest to home for the talented wide receiver, and they could surely use a player of his caliber. However, the Scarlet Knights would have to beat out some true CFB powerhouses to keep Brown home.
The Tide is the most recent to offer Brown, doing so on March 31. Alabama currently holds commitments from 4-star WRs Rico Scott and Perry Thompson.
