The Florida Gators picked up an intriguing cornerback commit Tuesday.
Three-star cornerback Jayvaughn Myers committed to the Gators over a host of schools, including Michigan and Florida State.
After a long process with my mom I'm very blessed to say that I have committed to the University of Florida🐊🏈🔹🔸 pic.twitter.com/MAITsWFzNX

Why this is significant is because his brother, Nate Craig-Myers, is one of the best football players in the country for 2016. Craig-Myers is the No. 1 receiver in the country and rated as a five-star prospect. It will undoubtedly help the Gators’ chances of landing the five-star brother, too.
Jayvaughn Myers is talented in his own right and is rated as the country’s No. 38 cornerback and No. 62 overall player in the country, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. Many expect his rating to improve throughout his senior year.
Myers became the Gators’ 19th commitment for 2016.
