The 2020 NBA Draft lottery took place on Thursday, so now we know how the first 14 picks of October’s draft will play out.

That means a new round of mock drafts are coming out, and this week, CBS Sports analyst Kyle Boone released his updated Round 1 projections.

As you can see below, he projects 5 SEC stars to go in Round 1, and all of them are in the first half of the first round:

  • No. 1 — Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia — Minnesota Timberwolves
  • No. 5 — Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn — Cleveland Cavaliers
  • No. 6 — Aaron Nesmith, F, Vanderbilt — Atlanta Hawks
  • No. 10 — Kira Lewis Jr., G, Alabama — Phoenix Suns
  • No. 15 — Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky — Orlando Magic

Teams will be doing their homework on the top guys in the draft class over the next 2 months in preparation for the draft. Can any other SEC standouts sneak into the Round 1 conversation?
