How difficult must it have been for opposing high school offenses to pass the ball on American Heritage High School last fall?

In case you were unaware, American Heritage had the top two cornerback prospects in the nation playing for them in 2017, at least according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. Patrick Surtain Jr. ranks as the nation’s No. 1 CB, while his teammate Tyson Campbell ranks as the No. 2 CB in America. Both players were U.S. Army All-American selections in 2018.

Imagine facing those two as a high school quarterback. Thankfully for high school QBs all across South Florida, the two are done with prep football and are moving on to the next level. The only question is, where will they be playing?

We’ll have the answer on National Signing Day (Wednesday, Feb. 7) live on ESPN, as the two players plan to commit on the network the school confirmed according to Andrew Ivins of 247Sports.

Surtain is expected to select between LSU and Alabama while Campbell is expected to choose between Georgia, Alabama, Miami and recent darkhorse to his recruitment Tennessee.
