The 2023 NFL Draft is 2 weeks away. On Thursday, the NFL revealed that 17 players, including 6 SEC standouts, will be making the trip to Kansas City.
It’s no surprise to see a trio of SEC quarterbacks with first-round buzz on the list of attendees. Three defensive standouts will also be ready to walk on stage when their name is called.
- Will Anderson Jr., Edge, Alabama
- Brian Branch, DB, Alabama
- Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia
- Will Levis, QB, Kentucky
- Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida
- Bryce Young, QB, Alabama
Quarterbacks have dominated the news cycle leading up to this year’s draft. The Carolina Panthers traded for the No. 1 overall pick and are expected to take a QB. The trio of SEC QBs and Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud are widely considered the top 4 QB prospects in the Class of 2023.
Round 1 of the 2023 NFL Draft begins at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 27. Coverage will air on the NFL Network, ABC and ESPN. Rounds 2 and 3 will be held on April 28 (7 p.m. ET) and 4 through 7 on April 29 (noon ET).
