Now that there’s only 1 game left in the 2021 college football season (the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Monday night), it’s time to hand out some postseason awards.

On Thursday, the AP released its “All-Bowl Team,” naming the standouts from this year’s crop of bowl games.

A total of 8 SEC players were named to the roster. As you can see below, 5 offensive players and 3 defenders from the SEC made the cut:

  • Brian Robinson Jr., RB, Alabama
  • Jaheim Bell, TE, South Carolina
  • Evan Neal, OL, Alabama
  • Jamaree Salyer, OL, Georgia
  • Dakereon Joyner, All-Purpose, South Carolina
  • Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia
  • Joe Foucha, DB, Arkansas
  • Derion Kendrick, DB, Georgia

Of those players, 5 of them are still alive for the national title. Alabama and Georgia will square off Monday night in Indianapolis.
