Alabama’s A-Day spring game is perhaps the most anticipated spring college football event in the nation.
And the university has released many of the details about the 2016 version of the game, which is set to by played at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, April 16.
Here are all the important things you need to know:
- The fan experience begins at 8 a.m., gates open at 11 a.m. local time.
- It is the only SEC spring game to be broadcast on ESPN, kickoff will be 2 p.m. local time.
- Kirk Herbstreit, Joe Tessitore and Joey Galloway will be the television crew.
- Alumni flag football game is set to be held at 11:30 a.m. inside the stadium.
- At approximately 12:15 p.m. on A-Day, head coach Nick Saban and 2015 captains Jake Coker, Derrick Henry, Ryan Kelly and Reggie Ragland will address the crowd.
- Walk of Champions will take place at 12:50 p.m.
- Halftime entertainment will include a Crimson Tide QB challenge between former Alabama QBs, the names of which have yet to be revealed.
- Kenyan Drake will be signing autographs outside Gate 5 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Heisman Trophy winners Mark Ingram and Derrick Henry will be on hand for A-Day.
