Aaron Rowe is staying home. The elite point guard from Columbia, Missouri, has committed to play for Dennis Gates’ program.

Rowe announced his verbal pledge to Mizzou in a ceremony on Tuesday.

Out of Father Tolton, Rowe is listed as measuring 6-feet and 155 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Rowe is rated 5-stars, the No. 2 player in the Show Me state, No. 4 point guard and No. 20 prospect overall in the Class of 2025.

Rowe picked up scholarship offers from 10 programs during his recruitment. He chose the hometown Tigers over Tennessee, Kansas State and others.

Gates’ staff has been a force on the recruiting trail. Mizzou signed 5 commitments in 2024 for the No. 4 class nationally on the Composite. Now, 2025 is off to a big start with Rowe on board.
