Out of Ashwaubenon High School for his senior year, Allen is listed as measuring 6-7, 180 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Allen is rated 4-stars, the No. 4 player in the state of Wisconsin, No. 18 small forward and No. 98 prospect overall in the Class of 2025.
Allen drew widespread interest in his recruitment. He picked up offers from 26 programs, including Auburn, Creighton, Florida State, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa, Marquette, Tennessee, Villanova and Virginia Tech. In late July, Allen narrowed the focus of his recruitment, naming a final 6 of Alabama, Mississippi State, Minnesota, Nevada, UCF and Wisconsin ahead of his big decision.
Allen is a strong start to the 2025 class. Oats’ staff signed the No. 2 class in the country for 2024, inking 4 high schoolers and 4 transfers.
