Alabama has cracked the top 3 for top 100 defensive back Makari Vickers, he announced Tuesday via his personal Twitter account.
Vickers, rated as the No. 5 overall safety in the class of 2023, will decide between Alabama, Oklahoma and Michigan. He has not yet set a commitment date.

It’s worth noting that both of Alabama’s top commits in the 2023 class are cornerbacks. The Crimson Tide do not currently hold a commitment from a true safety such as Vickers, however.
Alabama has the nation’s No. 12 rated class in the 2023 cycle. An addition from Vickers, who is the No. 85 prospect in the country, would be a big boost for what is shaping up to be a strong secondary class for the Tide.
