Alabama lands commitment from USC DB transfer, former 5-star recruit

Domani Jackson has decided that Alabama is the team for him in 2024.

Jackson, a USC transfer who took in the Crimson Tide’s Rose Bowl practice on Thursday, revealed that he will transfer to UA to continue his college football career.

Jackson heads to Alabama after 2 seasons at USC. A standout of California powerhouse program Mater Dei High School, Jackson was rated 5-stars and the No. 5 recruit overall on the 247Sports Composite for the Class of 2022. Alabama was in the mix during his initial recruitment.

At USC, Jackson appeared in 18 games over 2 seasons. He played in 7 games as a freshman, recording 2 tackles and 1 pass breakup.

Jackson stepped into a larger role in 2023. Over 11 games this season Jackson recorded 33 total tackles and 3 pass breakups. He entered the transfer portal on Dec. 19.

As a transfer portal prospect, 247Sports rated Jackson 4-stars, the No. 3 cornerback and No. 25 player available. He is listed as measuring 6-1 and 190 pounds on the USC roster.
